Arctic Solstice: Never Set
This prototype is a side-scrolling survival game set in the Arctic Circle under the midnight sun. In some Arctic locations during summer, the sun can remain above the horizon through the night for weeks, creating constant daylight and constant exposure.
Your goal is to cross that endless light using shade, yoga, signal decoding, Juneteenth-inspired freedom captions, and memory. Press start to hear and read a short introduction, then use arrow keys to begin.
How to play Left and right arrow keys move. Up arrow jumps. Press E in shade to practice yoga and recover. At the SHIFT gate, press E to rotate the code ring until the door opens. Polar bears chase nearby players; ice spikes and bright exposure reduce stamina, while constant strain slowly lowers focus.
After entering the key, click Play intro + begin. Then click the ✦ Gemini avatar at the bottom-right to request a live contextual hint. The hint will reflect the current zone, stamina, focus, and game flags.
